Bilingual multi-activity camps

Our weeklong camps during school breaks and summer provide a fun and stimulating environment for your kids!

Our school calendar includes breaks approximately every seven weeks for a total of six weeks during the school year and eight weeks in the summer.

Weeklong camps are offered for each school break (except in December) and over summer vacation. These camps offer a convenient solution to your childcare needs. Your child will love these camps! Run by school staff (educators holding the ECE or ECEA certificate) and external partners, in French and in English, they address a variety of themes. The camps include artistic, physical and recreational activities.

The activities vary depending on the age of your child. Two camps are offered: for the 3-4 year old age group, and for the 5 to 11-year-olds.

Camps during school breaks

2026-2027 Break weeks are:
October 26 to 30, 2026
December 21, 2026 to January 1, 2027– no camps
February 16 to 19, 2027
April 19 to 30, 2027

OCTOBER BREAK CAMPS

FOR AGES 3-5

-Artistic, physical and fun activities with Cousteau’s Educators
-Clay & Sculpture Studio with 3 squares Art Studio
Hand-building, sculpture, texture, form, functional pieces and 3D design

FOR AGES 6-11

-Artistic, physical and fun activities with Cousteau’s Educators
-Animation & Media Lab and Cartooning & Illustration with 3 squares Art Studio
Program 1: Stop motion, claymation, character creation, storyboarding, simple filmmaking and visual storytelling
Program 2: Character design, comics, drawing, painting, expressions, settings and original stories

Summer Camps

Summer camps at Cousteau School are a great way to learn and have fun in French during the summer season. Some activities are offered in English by partners in the region. Each week has a different program of activities. The offer is varied: sporting, creative, scientific and technical activities. Many weeks include day trips to must see sites in Greater Vancouver, with school bus transportation.

Schedule: 9am-4:30pm
Location: École Cousteau, North Vancouver
Rate: from $240 to $430 depending on the weeks
Additional registration fee for children not enrolled at Cousteau

Registration:
April: priority registration for Cousteau students
May: for external children
Requirement for external participants: campers must have turned 4 years old by June 30, 2027.
