With a multicultural community of over 30 nationalities, Cousteau School values cultural diversity and the sharing of traditions within the classroom.

During the week of January 20, the two Kindergarten classes carried out a project to discover the traditions of New Year celebrations  in several countries.

Parents came to class to explain their traditions and offered activities for the children, including :

-Chinese New Year: paper-cut window decorations, Chinese calligraphy, storytelling in Chinese, making decorative Chinese knots, tasting culinary specialties.
-Japanese New Year: the art of origami.
-Mexican New Year: presentation of La Rosca de Reyes and wreath decorating.
